On Sunday 16th March, Richmond Motor Club held the Andrew Allison Memorial Trial at Telfit, near Marske. The scores were varied across the board, but Richard Sadler (Vertigo) proved the sections were no match for him and only lost 11 marks, winning the trial overall. Dan Thorpe (GASGAS) was not too far behind on 18 marks lost, and Jonathan Richardson (Montesa) placed a respectable third with 30 marks lost.
On the Clubman A (Green) Course, Peter Sharp (Vertigo) came in first place on 36 marks lost, closely followed by Stephen Bennett (GASGAS) on 37 marks lost. Andrew Tales (TRRS) rounded off the top three with 44 marks lost.
The Over 40s showed the Clubman Course that age is just a number, with the top 3 overall being from the Over 40s Class. Paul Astwood (GASGAS) was first after dropping 34 marks, followed by Allan Richardson (TRRS) on 39 marks lost and Paul Wearmouth (TRRS) on 43 marks lost.
The Youth B Class had a good turnout, with 8 riders tackling the Main Course. Joseph Larkin (Beta) was first with 82 marks. George Askham (Beta) and Bailey Huntbach (Beta) battled it out with only one mark separating them, coming in second and third respectively.
