Fresh after the release of the new AR68 Raga Replica Sherco trials bike, the legendary Spanish trial rider, Adam Raga, has confirmed that he will compete in the 2025 Scottish Six Days Trial, one of the most iconic and prestigious events in the world of motorcycle trials. This marks an exciting return to the event for Raga, who rode the event back in the year 2000 and returns 25 years later to better his 9th position with 31 points lost.
Raga, a six times World Champion, who has been a dominant figure in the FIM TrialGP World Championship over the last two decades, is set to bring his skill, determination, and experience to the rugged terrain of the Scottish Highlands. Known for his technical prowess and fearless riding style, Raga’s participation is expected to generate significant excitement among fans and competitors alike.
The 2025 Scottish Six Days Trial will take place from May 3 to May 8, 2025, and will once again challenge riders with its challenging sections, moor crossings, and unpredictable weather conditions. Raga’s decision to take part comes after announcing his retirement from the TrialGP World Championship. His focus is now on Sherco machine development alongside a different set of competition goals such as the SSDT.
“I’m really excited to return to the Scottish Six Days Trial this year,” said Adam. “It’s one of the most respected trials in the world, and I have always admired the challenge it presents but it’s difficult to consider riding whilst competing in TrialGP. The Scottish terrain is so unique, and it’s a competition that every trial rider wants to win. I’d love to add a SSDT victory to my CV and I’m working hard ready to give it my all. Winning this event with my new Raga Replica bike that is set to arrive to the UK ahead of the Six day would be a dream. I look forward to seeing everyone at the parade!”
The SSDT is known not only for its tough competition but also for its rich history. As the event enters its 114th edition in 2025, it promises to be a momentous occasion for riders and fans alike, with many of the sport’s top talents, including Jack Price last year’s winner (Sherco) and our official TrialGP rider for 2025 Jack Peace (also Sherco) set to battle Raga for victory. We can’t wait to follow them and see what happens this May.
