Dougie, Alfie and Fraiser Lampkin will for the first time ever share the same clothing partner across Trial and enduro disciplines, with the formidable trio from Britain’s famous motorcycling family having recently reached a three year and all-encompassing agreement with S3. Based out of Girona Spain, S3 will supply the threesome with both clothing and hard parts for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 season with an option to extend the relationship further at the end of the initial term.
Dougie will continue to compete in the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) as he goes in search of a record extending fifteenth win in the Highlands, plus other selected events, shows and filming projects. Whilst his eldest son Alfie will move up to Trial2 in the TrialGP series this year after his best season ever in Trial3 in 2023, as well as competing in the British Championship, the SSDT alongside his dad and other national / international events. Alfie’s younger brother Fraiser will represent the family at national level enduro races with the talented fifteen-year-old having already started to make a name for himself in the British junior ranks.
This remarkable Lampkin trio offers a unique opportunity in the World of off-road motorcycle sport, and one that S3 has been keen to realise for a period having closely followed the fortunes of all three riders, who are all at different stages of their riding careers. S3’s UK representative John Shirt Motorcycles has been a key player in bringing the parties together and will provide the relevant support at the various British Trial and Enduro events throughout the year.
Speaking on behalf of himself and his two emerging sons Dougie Lampkin explained: “This is a special moment for me and my boys, to have S3 recognise the future potential of both Alfie and Fraiser in their chosen sports and to have included myself in more of an ambassador role is something we can all be very proud of. We are confident that S3 will create some great clothing for the three of us and have a good range of hard parts to help us to each produce our best performances. I would like to say a big thank you to Michel for believing in me and my sons.”
Pleased to have secured all three Lampkins, S3 founder and owner Michel Kaufmann confirmed: “The name Lampkin is very important in off road motorcycling and one that is recognised globally. To be able to welcome Dougie, Alfie and Fraiser to the S3 brand all at the same time is something unique and something we are proud to have the opportunity to do, so I would like to thank John Shirt for helping make this dream come true. The whole S3 team is excited to start working with the Lampkin trio and to build a strong and close relationship which we hope will extend for many years to come.”
